eyetry operates at the intersection of physical space and time-based media, exploring the creative use and misappropriation of tools and methods. eyetry aims to extend the limitations of representation and produces space as part of its presentation.

Florian Schafschetzy is a registered architect and a member of IG Architektur. He studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and completed his graduate studies under the tutelage of Wolf D. Prix. He has worked as project architect and design architect for Franz Sam, Vienna. He also worked for Coop Himmelb(l)au, Delugan & Meissl AA and Wolfgang Tschapeller. He was awarded a merit prize for Experimental Tendencies in 2004 and works he collaborated on were exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennial 2006. Florian was selected for the MAK Los Angeles Schindler residency 2011. In 2018, Florian co-founded Magazin, an exhibition space for contemporary architecture in Vienna.

Eva Sommeregger is a registered architect. She holds a Masters Degree in Architectural Design from the Bartlett UCL London and the TU Vienna and a PhD from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She has worked on projects in Abu Dhabi, London and Vienna, and has taken part in a TU design/built project in Johannesburg that was issued the Austrian Building Award 2006. Her work was shown at the Venice Biennale 2008. Eva was Schütte-Lihotzky Research Fellow 2010 and Architect in Residence at the MAK in Los Angeles 2011. Currently she is a senior scientist at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and a senior researcher at the Art Academy of Latvia, Riga.

eyetry was founded in 2010, works have been shown internationally, including the MoMA New York.
